The Turkish force, vastly superior in numbers, dispersed the Hungarian camp; and Dobozi mounted his steed with his wife in his arms. How ever, the horse being unable to be at the double burden, the faithful wife begged and entreated her husband to kill her, lest she should fall into the hands of the Turks.
