Ismertető szöveg: Built in 1929-1931, a late work of Lipót Baumhorn (1860-1932), who designed 22 synagogues in Hungary during his carreer (at the later ones, like this, he was working together with his son-in-law, György Somogyi). At this building he used steel-concrete technology, a new development in church building of the age. - The building ceased to be an active place of worship after 1944, it is utilized as a furniture store now.
