Képaláírás: Designed by Lipót Baumhorn, built in 1908 with a 520 capacity for men and 400 for women. The glass windows were designed by Miksa Róth, significant artist of the age. The building was centre of a larger complex - it also consisted a smaller separate prayer-house (not displayed in this picture) which works as the actual synagogue today, since after 1945 the main building ceased to be a synagogue any more. The main outdoor ornamental elements still remained and it appears to be refurbished, the outlook of the building definitely recalls the outlines of a one-time synagogue, though all of the smaller ornaments (stone tablets, signs, letters etc.) have been removed, and the building is used as a fencing hall today.

Az épület egy nagyobb komplexum központja volt, tartozott hozzá egy kisebb imaház is, amit a kép nem mutat. Jelenleg ez szolgál zsinagógaként, 1945 után a főépület megszűnt zsinagógaként működni. A főbb külső ornamentikus elemek még megmaradtak, és ezek felújítottnak is tűnnek. Az épület kinézete határozottan felidézi az egykori zsinagógát, annak ellenére, hogy a kisebb díszítő elemek el lettek távolítva. Az épület ma vívóteremként üzemel.
